Django Unchained – Teaser Trailer

Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie will be something completely new and entirely different than he’s used to–a full-blown western flick. The film stars a couple of Tarantino usuals, Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz, alongside newcomers to Tarantino’s Universe, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx. The story revolves around a slave-turned-bounty-hunter (Foxx) who sets out to rescue his wife (Kerry Washington) from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner (Dicaprio), with the help of his mentor (Waltz). And of course, like most of his movies, the soundtrack will rely heavily on music from the 1970’s. Can’t wait!

  1. Not sure what song it is but you’re right, it does sound like a something that would be on The Payback. I think the soundtrack for Django is being produced by RZA from Wu-Tang but I’m not sure…let me know if you hear anything!

  2. What is the name of the song from 1:50 onwards? It sounds like a version of James Brown’s The Big Payback but has a different version to it.
